Fran McGillivray (vocals & bass guitar) and Mike Burke (acoustic, electric & resonator guitars & vocals) are exciting and compelling performers and songwriters with a strong following on the roots music scene. Fran and Mike have spent many years honing their craft and have developed a unique take on roots music and an amazing empathy on stage. They have performed at many major festivals in Europe and the UK including Rotterdam, Cambridge and Shrewsbury, and have shared the bill with artists such as Bob Dylan, Bert Jansch, John Renbourne and Elvis Costello. They are regulars on the club and concert circuit, and on BBC and local music radio shows. Fran and Mike’s own vibrant and original songs are complemented by soulful, dynamic and powerful interpretations of songs which have informed their deep love of Roots Music.

The Fran McGillivray Band's Album "Rain" was number 10 in the Bluesblues top 40 Americana + albums of 2022. Cerys Matthews has played tracks from "Rain" album on her BBC Radio 2 Blues Show, and Fran was interviewed live for the show on 27th February 2023.

• Our live music events are held outside under the stars in our courtyard during the summer. 
• Ticket price covers music only. Pre-booking required. 
• Doors open at 6pm.
• Food served 6pm to 7.30pm. Pre-booking not required.
